Improve thread precision: a new batch of automatic cold heading equipment has been added.
2026 Oct 10
Old customers who often ask us for American fasteners know that the most difficult thing to control is * * "thread consistency". Especially for UNC/UNF thread, if the precision of the thread forming machine is not enough, even if it is only a little worse, the problem of "astringency, jamming and tightness" will occur when screwing into the hole of the equipment.
In order to solve this problem, our factory has just completed an equipment upgrade this month, and newly introduced a number of high-speed automatic cold upsetting machines (and supporting rolling machines).
Why do you want to replace the equipment at this time?
Actually, it""s not just to speed up. With the increasing number of non-standard customized parts made in the United States recently, it is difficult for the old equipment to meet the "high standard" when dealing with some materials with special hardness. We don""t want to reject defective products frequently in quality inspection, and we don""t want customers to get goods with unstable threads.
Direct changes brought by this upgrade:
More stable thread tolerance: the new equipment has higher mold precision and full thread profile, which can effectively reduce the "stuck feeling" when the nut is screwed in.
Delivery time is more leisurely: in the past, some complicated British specifications always had to be arranged for a long time. Now that the production capacity has increased, we are more confident in dealing with sudden emergency purchase orders.
Support harder materials: The new equipment performs better in cold heading of medium carbon steel and alloy steel, which enables us to produce Grade 8 bolts with higher strength and more stable performance.
At present, this batch of new equipment has been debugged and put into the production plan this week. If you have an ongoing project recently, or are worried about finding a stable supplier of English bolts, please feel free to contact us.
